Our Establishment
Tlakale Mashashane Commercial School is a public secondary school established in 1990, with only one block and 3 teachers, namely namely Mantjiu S.R(Ms), Mokwatlo M.F(Mr) and Mashao S.R. Ms Mantjiu was later promoted as District Senior Manager in Waterberg. Mr Mokwatlo as Circuit Manager of Maraba Circuit. Ms Mashao a pensioner. When the school was established learners were ± 16 from all villages around Mashashane. Streams offered were Commercial Streams. The school was established because there was lack of commercial subjects in schools around Mashashane. The first Grade 12 in 1994 produced 93.7% with 7 educators. The school went on to produce extreme results which were above 80%.
School Growth
Performance of learners attracted more learners to the school. The enrolment of the school reached 900 in 2006, with about 27 educators. Because of the needs of the community and changes in departmental policies, new streams were introduced to the school. The following streams are currently offered at school:-

Highlights
- Obtained position 1 in the circuit for many years. - Learners made it to the top 30 of the best learners in the Province i.e Maubane Lodwick - Sepuru Elias got 300 out of 300 in Mathematics in 2015. - The school is a club 50 in the Province in year 2010. - Former Dinaledi School. - Currently an MST (Maths Science and Technology) School. - Produced 10 learners who obtained 7 distinctions in all subjects. - In all the years the school obtained more than 50% Bachelors. - The school products include:- - Sepuru Mercia currently studying LAW at University of Limpopo. - Sepuru Elias studying Engineering at WITS. - Legodi Labious studying Medicine. - Madubanya Robert, Maluleke Samuel and Mothapo Samuel currently employed as Chartered Accountants. - Ripinga Goodwill currently employed as an Accountant in Dubai. - The list is endless.
Current Situation
- Today the school has ± 1000 learners. - 30 teachers - Offering 4 streams - Performing above 80%. - Having 7 blocks of 4 classrooms each. - With an administration Block and a kitchen.

- The school is doing well academically, the following challenges have been identified:- - Poor sports Facilities and Equipments. - Poor sanitation - Lack of school hall - No Library - No Computer Laboratory - No Science Laboratory - Dilapidated classrooms which needs tiling - Garden (facilities) - Car Ports
